The In the Bayou Collection is one of the most meaningful collections I've created for Packin Pixie. When Disney introduced Princess Tiana, it was a special moment for me personally. Around that same time, I had just begun my teaching career in kindergarten, and I remember seeing the excitement on my students' faces as they watched a princess who inspired them to dream big, work hard, and believe in themselves. Watching that joy unfold in the classroom is a memory I'll always treasure.

One of the things I love most about Disney stories is their ability to bring people together. Every princess has a unique story, and each one reminds us that courage, kindness, determination, and hope come in many different forms. Seeing greater diversity in the characters we grow up with helps more children recognize that everyone has a place in these magical stories, while giving all of us the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate one another's experiences.

This collection is my way of honoring Princess Tiana's legacy of perseverance, grace, and never giving up on your dreams.
